The output shaft oil seal for a Tesla large or small drive unit, the one the driveshaft passes through. A consumable, and the cheapest part on the car to get wrong.
Any time a driveshaft comes out of a Tesla drive unit, this seal has been disturbed. It has spent its life bedded onto one shaft in one position, and once it is unseated it rarely goes back oil tight. The failure is not dramatic: it weeps, the level drops slowly, and the first real sign is a stain on the floor or a gearbox that has been running low for months.
Replace it as a matter of course whenever the shaft comes out. It costs very little against the price of a drive unit, and refitting the old one to save it is a false economy that is only discovered later, with the shaft back in and the unit back in the car.
A drive unit has two of these, one per side. If you are stripping a unit rather than pulling one shaft, order a pair.

Compatibility
For the Tesla large drive unit and small drive unit, at the driveshaft output.
Fit it square and fit it dry on the outside. Drive the seal in evenly rather than tapping one edge, lightly oil the lip where it meets the shaft, and check the shaft's sealing surface for a wear groove while you are there. A new seal on a grooved shaft will leak again.
