A Molex Nano-Fit male crimp terminal with 0.76 micron gold plating. Sold individually.
Gold plating on a contact is not decoration, and 0.76 micron is a meaningful thickness. Gold does not oxidise, which matters on a contact carrying a small signal: a tarnished tin or nickel surface adds contact resistance that a millivolt level signal cannot overcome, where the same tarnish on a power contact would be irrelevant. It also survives repeated mating, so a connector that gets plugged and unplugged during development still works afterwards.
Terminals are the part of a connector that gets used up. A crimp made slightly wrong, a cable cut short, a harness reworked, or a contact damaged during extraction all end the same way: the housing is fine and the terminal is not. Buying the contact on its own means remaking one circuit rather than replacing a connector.

Features
- Gold plated to 0.76 micron, so the contact surface does not tarnish
- Suits low level signals where contact resistance matters
- Survives repeated mating during development
- Bought individually, so you order what the job needs
Compatibility
For Molex Nano-Fit connector housings.
Check the conductor range before ordering. A terminal is specified for a particular wire size band, and a conductor outside that band will not crimp into a gas tight joint no matter how good the tool. Ask us to confirm the range and the correct crimp die.
Do not mix plating types in one connector. A gold contact mated to a tin one corrodes at the interface faster than either would alone. Keep a connector consistent.
