A 3 amp standard blade fuse, colour coded purple. The ordinary automotive fuse, in the size used across the whole industry.
A fuse protects the cable, not the thing on the end of it. That is the point everyone gets backwards. It exists so that if a wire chafes through and shorts to the body, the wire cannot glow red and set fire to what is around it. Size it to the smallest conductor in the circuit, then make sure that conductor is big enough for the load.
The colour is the rating. Standard blade fuses are colour coded to a fixed scheme, so a purple one is always 3 amps regardless of who made it. That matters at the roadside in poor light: you can tell what came out and what should go back in without reading anything.
3 amps is a small circuit. It suits small lamp feeds, relay coils, controller supplies and other low current circuits.

Compatibility
For standard blade fuse holders and fuse boxes in 12 V and 24 V vehicle circuits.
This is a low voltage fuse. It must never be used on anything at pack potential. Breaking DC at high voltage needs a fuse specifically rated for DC at that voltage; a blade fuse asked to do it can open and then keep conducting through the arc.
Never fit a larger fuse to stop one blowing. A fuse that keeps going is telling you something about the circuit. Replacing it with a bigger one removes the warning and leaves the cable unprotected.
