A straight brass hose connector, 1/4 inch BSPP male thread to a 10 mm barbed tail.
Adapting a drive unit or a coolant circuit to plumbing you can actually buy means converting its ports to a standard thread and a standard hose size. This fitting does that at the 10 mm end.
Brass rather than aluminium for a fluid fitting. It machines a clean thread, it does not gall against a steel or aluminium port, and it tolerates the heat of a coolant or oil circuit without losing torque in the joint.
BSPP is parallel, not tapered. It seals on a washer or O ring at the face rather than on the thread, so it needs the correct sealing washer and should not be wound in with PTFE tape as though it were a tapered thread. Getting that the wrong way round is the usual cause of a weeping fitting.

Compatibility
For 1/4 inch BSPP ports taking 10 mm hose.
The 8 mm version is the smaller size in the same thread.
Fit the correct sealing washer. BSPP parallel seals at the face, and without a washer it will weep no matter how tight it is.
Use a proper hose clamp on the barb, and match the hose to the fluid: coolant hose for coolant, oil rated hose for oil.
