A bulkhead fitting taking 10 mm push fit tube on one side and a 3/8 inch BSPP female thread on the other, in grey. It carries a coolant line through an enclosure wall.
Getting a coolant line out of a sealed battery box is a specific problem. The enclosure has to stay sealed against water and dust, and the hole the pipe passes through is exactly where that seal is easiest to lose. A bulkhead fitting is designed for that crossing: it clamps through the wall and seals against it, so the joint is engineered rather than improvised with grommets and sealant.
Push fit on one side, threaded on the other, which suits the usual arrangement: push fit tube inside the enclosure where runs are short and tidy, and a threaded connection outside where it joins the rest of the system.

Compatibility
For 10 mm outside diameter tube and a 3/8 inch BSPP male fitting on the other side. Our 10 mm LLDPE tube is the matching tube.
BSPP is parallel, not tapered. It seals on a washer or O ring at the face rather than on the thread, so it needs the correct sealing washer and should not be wound up with PTFE tape as though it were tapered.
Check your panel thickness. A bulkhead fitting clamps through the wall and has a limited grip range, so a very thick enclosure wall may need counterboring or a different fitting.
Cut the tube square. Push fit seals on the outside surface, so a ragged or angled cut leaks.
