Black cloth loom tape, 19 mm wide and 25 m long, for bundling and protecting ordinary vehicle wiring. The tape used throughout a factory loom, and the right one for everything that is not at pack voltage.
Cloth rather than PVC because it does the job better in a car: it tears by hand, conforms round a bundle without creasing, damps the rattle of a loom against panelwork, and does not go sticky and slide off when the engine bay gets hot. PVC tape unwinds into a gummy mess after a few summers, which is why no manufacturer uses it on a loom.
Wrapping a loom is what makes it survive. A bundled harness cannot chafe individual wires against each other, cannot catch on a bracket, and behaves as one thing when the car moves.

- Damps loom noise against panels and brackets
- Tears by hand and conforms round a bundle without creasing
- Abrasion protection where a loom passes through a bulkhead or over an edge
Compatibility
For automotive and electrical harnesses, engine bay wiring and general cable management.
For high voltage runs use the orange version instead. Orange marks pack potential to anyone who opens the car, and using black on a traction cable removes that warning.
Tape is protection and bundling, not insulation. It does not replace correct sleeving or cable rating.
