A dual hall effect throttle assembly with a cable drum, in CNC machined aluminium and sealed to IP67. For conversions where the original throttle mechanism cannot be reused.

Dual sensors are the whole point, and it is a safety argument rather than a specification. Two independent hall sensors read the same movement, and a controller compares them. If one fails, drifts or shorts, the disagreement between them is detectable and the controller can refuse the signal instead of accepting a phantom throttle demand. That is why every production car uses two, and it is why a single sensor throttle has no place on a vehicle that carries people.

Hall effect rather than a potentiometer means nothing rubs. A potentiometer drags a wiper across a resistive track, and on a throttle operated thousands of times that track wears into a dead spot or a jump at exactly the position used most. A hall sensor reads a magnet through a gap and does not wear.

The cable drum takes the original throttle cable. That is the reason to choose this version: the pedal, the pedal box and the cable all stay as they were, and only the far end of the cable changes. On a car where the pedal assembly is part of the character, or simply where nobody wants to re engineer a footwell, that matters.

CNC aluminium and IP67 because a throttle assembly lives in a footwell or an engine bay and gets kicked, splashed and stood on.

Compatibility

For EV conversions, kit cars, marine installations and any build where the original throttle mechanism cannot be reused.

Your controller must read both tracks. Wiring only one sensor gives up the redundancy the assembly exists to provide. If your controller takes a single throttle input, that is worth resolving before you buy a dual sensor throttle.

Check the output range against your controller. Controllers expect a particular voltage band at rest and at full travel, and the assembly has to be calibrated to it. Tell us which controller you are using and we will confirm compatibility.
