The pull out half of a 400 A high voltage service disconnect, with the fuse built into it. One movement isolates the pack and takes the main fuse out with it, and the interlock tells the vehicle before the power contacts part.
Every high voltage pack needs a point where a technician can break the circuit by hand and see that it is broken. This is that point, and it does the job of two parts at once: it is the manual service disconnect and it is the pack's main overcurrent protection.
The fuse is a standard 600GH-400, and it is meant to be replaced. That matters more than it sounds. A fuse that blows on a part which then has to be scrapped is an expensive fault. Here the fuse is a serviceable item inside the handle, so clearing a fault means a new fuse rather than a new disconnect.
The interlock is what makes pulling it safe. A small signal loop runs through the connector and is only complete while it is fully home. Wire it into your BMS or contactor control and the contactors open the moment someone starts to withdraw the handle, well before the power contacts separate. Without that loop wired in, you are breaking a live 400 A circuit by hand.

Compatibility
This is the half that pulls out. It fits the 400 A base, DLQ2-Z-G001, which is the part that mounts on the pack. You need both unless you are replacing one half of an existing pair.
Suits EV traction packs, energy storage and industrial DC distribution up to 750 V and 400 A.
Wire the interlock. It is the whole reason this part is safer than a bolted link, and it does nothing if it is left unconnected.
