The plug half of a manual high voltage service disconnect, rated 1000 V DC and 300 A, with an interlock. Pulling it isolates the pack by hand and leaves a visible gap in the circuit.
Every high voltage system needs a point where someone working on it can break the circuit themselves and see that it is broken. A contactor that is commanded open is not the same thing: it is a decision made by software, and nobody should put their hands in a pack on the strength of that.
The interlock is what makes it safe to pull under power. A small signal loop runs through the connector and is complete only while it is fully home. Wired into your BMS or contactor control, it opens the contactors the instant someone starts to withdraw the plug, so the current is already zero before the power contacts part. Leave that loop unconnected and you are breaking 300 A by hand.
This one has no fuse in it. If you want the service disconnect and the pack's main fuse to be the same part, the fused version is a different product.

Features
- Manual isolation that is obvious by inspection, which a contactor never is
- High voltage interlock that opens the contactors before the power contacts part
- Rated 1000 V DC and 300 A, covering most conversion packs
- IP67 sealed when mated
- Keyed and retained, so it cannot vibrate loose
Compatibility
Fits the DLQ4-Z receptacle, which is the half that mounts on the pack. You need both unless you are replacing one side of an existing pair.
For EV traction packs, energy storage and industrial DC systems up to 1000 V and 300 A.
Wire the interlock. It is the entire reason this is safer than a bolted link.
In the box
- 1 x service disconnect plug
