The panel mounting half of a fused high voltage service disconnect, rated 750 V DC and 200 A, sealed to IP68. It mounts on the pack and the fused disconnect plug pulls out of it.
Every high voltage system needs a point where a technician can break the circuit by hand and see that it is broken. This is the fixed half of that point. It passes through the enclosure wall, carries the pack side connections behind it, and presents the socket the disconnect locks into.
The interlock runs through this half. A signal loop is complete only while the plug is fully home. Wired into your BMS or contactor control, it opens the contactors as soon as the plug starts to move, so the power contacts never part under current. Leave it unconnected and you are breaking 200 A by hand.
IP68 rather than IP67 is worth noting. It will take prolonged immersion rather than a brief dunking, which matters if the disconnect ends up low on the vehicle or anywhere that collects water.
Mount it where a person can reach it. A service disconnect behind a seat or under a bonded panel is one that will not be used in the situation it exists for.

Compatibility
Takes the DLQ5-T315-CUS fused disconnect, which carries the fuse. You need both unless you are replacing one half of an existing pair.

Position it so the plug, once out, cannot be put straight back by someone who did not take it out.
