A pair of bung caps for the driveshaft outlets on a Tesla drive unit. They keep dirt out while the driveshafts are removed.
An open driveshaft outlet is an open door into a gearbox. A drive unit sitting on a bench or a pallet with its shafts out collects workshop dust, swarf, grit and whatever else is in the air, and all of it goes straight past the seal and into the oil. It will also lose oil onto whatever it is standing on.
That matters most on a unit that has been shipped. A salvaged drive unit usually travels with its shafts out, and anything that got in during transit is in the gearbox when it arrives.
They cost almost nothing and prevent a problem you cannot undo. Once grit is in a gearbox, getting it out means stripping the unit.

Compatibility

Fit them as soon as the shafts come out, not when the unit goes into storage. Most of what gets into a gearbox does so in the first hour on the bench.
Stand the unit so the outlets are not the lowest point if you can. A cap keeps dirt out; it is not a fluid seal.
