A three pole 50 mm² high voltage connector, male, A keyed, with the cable leaving at 90 degrees. Rated 200 A continuous, with an interlock and terminals supplied.
Three poles is what makes this connector different, and it is almost always a motor connector. A traction circuit needs two conductors, positive and negative. Three conductors of equal size in one body is the signature of a three phase AC run, which in a conversion means the cable between the inverter and the motor. That is the connection this part is built for, and why it carries three identical 50 mm² contacts rather than two.
Doing that in one connector rather than three single pole ones keeps the three phases together, which matters electrically as well as tidily: phases routed together largely cancel each other's radiated field, and splitting them apart undoes that.
It carries a high voltage interlock. A small signal loop alongside the power contacts is complete only while the connector is fully home. Wire it into your BMS or contactor control and the contactors open the instant someone begins to separate the joint, so the current is already zero before the power contacts part.
The 90 degree body is usually the deciding factor. On three 50 mm² shielded cables the bend radius behind a straight connector is substantial, and turning at the connector is often the only way the run fits against a motor or an inverter.

Features
- Three poles in one body, which is what a three phase motor run needs
- Keeps the three phases together, so their radiated fields largely cancel
- 90 degree exit, for runs against a motor or inverter where a straight body will not fit
- Integrated high voltage interlock that breaks before the power contacts
- Takes shielded cable, so the screen terminates at the connector
- IP67 sealed once mated, with terminals included
Compatibility
Mates with the 3 way female, EVH1A-F3ZJ-WA. Buy the pair unless you already have the other half.
For inverter to motor runs and any other three conductor high voltage connection on 50 mm² cable.
Note the current rating is 200 A, lower than the 300 A of the two pole connectors in this family. Three contacts in one body means less room for each. Check it against your motor's continuous phase current, not its peak.
One point to confirm before you specify it. Our supplier data gives the insulation rating as 1000 V AC. On a three phase motor connector that is at least the right kind of number, but ask us if you need it confirmed against your own system voltage.
