The panel mounting half of a two pole 70 mm² high voltage connector, B keyed, with flat lug rear terminals. It mounts through an enclosure wall and takes the matching B keyed 90 degree plug.
Its terminals are flat lugs on the back, so inside the box the connection is a bolted joint to a busbar or a cable lug rather than a crimp. That suits a pack or an inverter housing where the internal side is solid metalwork, and it is the reason to choose this over a rear crimp version.
It carries a high voltage interlock. A small signal loop alongside the power contacts is complete only while the plug is fully home. Wired into your BMS or contactor control, it opens the contactors as soon as the plug starts to move, so the power contacts never part under current.
B keyed parts mate only with B keyed parts. The moulded keyway physically blocks an A keyed half. Where two similar high voltage runs sit near each other, using A for one and B for the other makes crossing them impossible. Check the letter on both halves before ordering. It is the most common reason one of these comes back.

One point to confirm before you specify it. Our supplier data gives the insulation rating as 1000 V AC. On a connector used almost entirely on DC traction systems that is the figure worth checking, so ask us and we will confirm the DC rating rather than have you design to an AC number.
