The panel mounting half of a small two pole high voltage connector for 4 to 6 mm² cable, B keyed. It goes through an enclosure wall and the matching B keyed plug locks into it.
This is the size for the high voltage circuits that are not the traction circuit: heaters, compressors, DC to DC feeds and charger runs. They sit at full pack voltage and need a proper high voltage connector, but at tens of amps rather than hundreds, and a 70 mm² connector on a 6 mm² cable wastes space and money.
B keyed parts mate only with B keyed parts. The moulded keyway physically blocks an A keyed half. Where two similar auxiliary runs sit close together, using A for one and B for the other makes crossing them impossible, which is exactly why both keyings exist. Check the letter on both halves before ordering.
