The high voltage safety kit we use in our own workshops. The personal protective equipment and safety gear needed to work on an EV battery system, in one package.
High voltage PPE is not a general purpose category, and that is why a kit makes sense. Electrical safety gloves have a class rating tied to a working voltage, they have a test date, and they are worn with leather over gloves to protect the rubber from mechanical damage. Insulated tools are a different specification again. Assembling that from a general supplier means making several judgement calls about ratings, and getting any of them wrong means equipment that looks like protection and is not.
This is the same equipment we use ourselves, which is the most useful thing we can say about it: it is specified by people who work on these systems daily rather than assembled to a price.
PPE has a service life and a test interval. Electrical safety gloves in particular must be inspected before every use and periodically retested, and they are consumable rather than permanent. Plan for replacement rather than treating a kit as a one off purchase.

Compatibility
For anyone working on high voltage EV battery systems: conversion workshops, independent garages taking on EV work, and individuals building their own packs.
Check the glove class against your working voltage. Glove classes are tied to a maximum working voltage, and a class appropriate for one system is not appropriate for all. Tell us the pack voltages you work on and we will confirm.
PPE is the last line, not the first. Isolating properly, proving dead and working to a safe procedure is what keeps people safe. Gloves are what catches the mistake.
