A Bussmann FWH-200A fast acting fuse, 200 A, rated 500 V AC and DC, in a stud mount cartridge. The fuse that protects a high voltage circuit when something goes badly wrong.
The DC rating is what makes this a high voltage fuse rather than an ordinary one. Breaking direct current is hard: there is no zero crossing to help extinguish the arc, so a fuse element that parts under DC has to quench an arc that would otherwise keep burning. A fuse rated only for AC will open and then continue to conduct through the arc, which is worse than no fuse at all because you believe you are protected. This one is rated for both.
Fast acting is the right characteristic here. A semiconductor fuse clears quickly enough to protect the things that fail fastest, which in a traction system means inverter devices and contactor tips. A slow fuse sized to ride out inrush protects the cable and nothing else.
Size it to the circuit, not to the pack. A 200 A fuse protects a 200 A circuit. If the run it sits in is smaller, the fuse should be too, or the cable becomes the fuse.

Compatibility
For high voltage DC circuits up to 500 V: pack main protection on smaller systems, inverter feeds, charger circuits and auxiliary high voltage branches.
Check your pack voltage against the 500 V rating. A fuse operated above its voltage rating may not clear the arc. If your pack runs above 500 V you need a higher rated fuse.
If your circuit calls for more current, the 400 A version is the same family.
