The panel mounting half of a two pole high voltage connector that accepts both 35 mm² and 50 mm² cable. It mounts through an enclosure wall and the matching plug locks into it.
Taking two cable sizes is the useful part. Conversions rarely settle on one conductor size across the whole pack, and a connector that only suits one forces the cable choice rather than following it. This one covers the two sizes most main runs actually use, so the same panel part works whether the run is 35 or 50.
The body is a straight panel mount with threaded fixings, so it becomes part of the enclosure rather than something hanging off it, and it will not shake loose.

The ratings are set by the whole assembly, not this half alone. The current a joint like this carries depends on the plug, the terminals and the cable fitted to it.
