The panel mounting half of a two pole 70 mm² high voltage connector, A keyed, with a built in interlock loop. This is the receptacle. It mounts through the wall of an enclosure and the matching A keyed plug pushes in and locks.

Its terminals are flat lugs on the back, so inside the box the connection is a bolted joint to a busbar or a cable lug rather than a crimp. That suits a pack or an inverter housing where the internal side is solid metalwork, and it is the reason to choose this over a rear crimp version.

It carries a high voltage interlock, and you should use it. Alongside the two power contacts is a small signal loop that is only complete while the connector is fully home. Wire that loop into your BMS or contactor control and the pack knows the instant someone begins to separate the joint. The interlock contacts are deliberately shorter than the power contacts, so they break first and the contactors are already open before the high voltage pins part. That is the difference between unplugging a connector and breaking a live circuit under load.

A keyed parts mate only with A keyed parts. The housing carries a moulded keyway that physically blocks a B keyed half. Where two similar high voltage runs sit near each other, using A for one and B for the other makes them impossible to cross connect. Check the keying letter on both halves before you order, because it is the most common reason one of these comes back.

Features

  • Flat lug rear terminals, for a bolted joint to internal busbar rather than a crimp
  • Integrated high voltage interlock that breaks before the power contacts
  • A keying physically prevents mating with a B keyed half
  • Threaded panel mounting for a fixing that will not shake loose
  • Sized for 70 mm² conductors, for the main pack runs rather than auxiliaries

Compatibility

Mates only with the A keyed straight plug, GYHF-2-250T-A. Buy the pair unless you already have the other half.

For EV pack enclosures, inverter and charger housings, energy storage cabinets and industrial high voltage distribution, wherever a 70 mm² pair has to pass through a panel.

The ratings are set by the whole assembly, not this half alone. The current a joint like this will carry depends on the plug, the terminals and the cable you fit to it. If you are working to a specific voltage and continuous current figure, ask us and we will confirm against the manufacturer data rather than have you work from a catalogue number.

In the box

  • 1 x panel mount receptacle, A keyed
