High voltage warning labels in a matte finish, available small at 48 by 58 mm and large at 204 by 242 mm. For marking high voltage components, enclosures and cable runs.

Labelling a high voltage system is part of building it, not decoration. A converted car will at some point be opened by somebody who did not build it: a technician, a recovery driver, an MOT tester, a firefighter, or whoever eventually breaks it for parts. None of them can tell by looking that an unmarked orange box holds four hundred volts. The label is how they find out before touching it rather than after.

It also matters for inspection. Electrical safety labelling is a common requirement in automotive and energy storage work, and an unlabelled pack is something an inspector will pick up.

The two sizes do different jobs. The large one goes on the pack enclosure, the inverter housing or any panel someone might open, where it needs to be seen from a distance. The small one goes on individual components, junction boxes and cable entries, where it identifies the specific thing rather than the area.

Features

  • Two sizes, for enclosures and for individual components
  • Matte finish, which stays readable rather than reflecting under a torch
  • Long term adhesive, so the label is still there in ten years
  • Meets common electrical safety labelling requirements for automotive and energy storage work
  • Multipack discount available

Compatibility

For EV battery enclosures, high voltage junction boxes, inverter and charger housings, energy storage cabinets and any panel behind which a high voltage circuit sits.

Put them where someone will look before opening something, not where they will see after. A label on the inside of a lid has already failed at its job.

Clean the surface first. Adhesive on a greasy or dusty panel lifts at the corners within a year, and a half detached warning label is one that gets ignored.

In the box

  • High voltage warning labels, in the size and quantity selected
