The Ohmite HS100-30R-F Precharge Resistor is a high-performance, wire wound, aluminium-housed resistor designed for demanding power applications. Manufactured in compliance with MIL 18546 and IEC 115 standards, it is optimized for heatsink mounting using thermal compound to achieve maximum thermal efficiency and stability.
The wirewound construction provides excellent high-pulse performance and linear power dissipation, even at elevated ambient temperatures. Its advanced design ensures exceptional reliability, long service life, and stable operation in a variety of power electronic systems.
This resistor is ideal for applications including precharge circuits, inrush current limiting, braking resistors, inverters, converters, snubber circuits, and DC bus balancing.
