A billet aluminium coolant plate for an SME controller, machined for liquid cooling and supplied complete with fittings.
A motor controller's limit is usually heat, not current. An inverter switching hundreds of amps dissipates real power in its semiconductors, and where that heat goes decides what the controller can actually deliver. Run it uncooled and it will work, briefly, then throttle back on temperature exactly when you are asking most of it. That reads as a motor that goes flat on a long hill, and people chase it in the wrong place.
Liquid cooling moves the heat somewhere you can deal with it. The plate bolts to the controller's base, coolant passes through machined channels, and the heat goes to a radiator instead of accumulating in an aluminium case in a warm engine bay.
Billet rather than cast matters here: a machined face is flat, and flatness is what puts the plate in real contact with the controller. A poor interface undoes the cooling regardless of how much coolant is flowing.

Compatibility
For SME AC-X1, AC-X120 and AC-X144 controllers.
Use thermal compound between the plate and the controller. Two machined faces still have microscopic gaps, and air in those gaps is a better insulator than almost anything else. A thin film is what turns contact into conduction.
The plate is part of a cooling system, not the whole one. You still need a pump, a radiator and somewhere for the heat to go. Sharing a loop with the motor is common; sharing one with the battery is usually not, because the battery wants a different temperature.
