A replacement oil pump housing that lets a Tesla large drive unit be mounted the other way round and still oil itself properly. Your original pump gears transfer into this casing, and the unit then pumps oil when running in the direction you have chosen.
This solves a problem that catches people out late. The large drive unit's oil pump is mechanically driven and only pumps one way. Tesla had no reason to make it work in reverse, because in the car the motor spins forwards almost all the time. Mount that same drive unit rotated for a conversion, so that what the car calls reverse is now your forward direction, and the pump stops delivering oil exactly when the unit is working hardest.
The result is a drive unit that looks fine on the bench and destroys itself on the road. There is no warning light and no obvious symptom until the damage is done, which is why this part exists.
The casing is machined to reverse the pump's direction of delivery while keeping the original flow rate. It uses the two gears from your own OEM pump, so the wearing parts are Tesla's and only the housing changes.

Compatibility
For the Tesla large drive unit where the unit is being installed rotated relative to its original orientation, so that the motor's normal forward rotation is now your reverse.
If you are mounting the drive unit in its standard orientation you do not need this part.
Transplanting the gears is a workshop job. The two gears come out of your original pump and go into this casing, which then goes back into the drive unit. Work clean: anything left in the pump ends up in the gearbox.
