The Orion Basic Display: a compact panel display showing the essential state of a pack managed by an Orion BMS.
A BMS knows everything about a pack and, on its own, shows the driver none of it. It makes decisions in the moment and reports over CAN to whatever is listening. If nothing is listening, the driver has no state of charge, no warning when the pack is limiting power, and no indication of a fault until something stops working.
This is the minimum that closes that gap. It is not a dashboard or a logger: it is a small display that shows what the driver actually needs, which is how much charge is left and whether anything is wrong.
If you want logging as well, the data logging display does both, recording individual cell voltages to a memory card alongside showing the same driver facing information.
