A replacement coolant fitting for a Tesla drive unit, 19 mm hose barb to AN12, in blue anodised aluminium.
A Tesla drive unit arrives with coolant fittings designed for Tesla's own plumbing, which nothing in a conversion matches. Swapping them for a known thread is how the drive unit joins your cooling system instead of dictating it.
AN12 is the useful half of this fitting. It is a standard size with a wide range of adapters, hose ends and fittings available, so once the drive unit presents an AN12 port you can build whatever plumbing the car actually needs rather than working around a proprietary connector.
The 19 mm barb is the hose size, which is the usual bore for a motor or drive unit coolant loop. That is a real coolant hose rather than small bore push fit tube.

Compatibility
For Tesla drive units, replacing the original coolant fittings.
Check the sealing arrangement your port needs. Fittings of this type usually seal on an O ring at the face rather than on the thread, so it should not be wound in with PTFE tape as though it were tapered. If your fitting needs an O ring, do not run it without one.
Use a proper hose clamp on the barb. A coolant joint that weeps into a drive unit bay is a slow problem that becomes an expensive one.
Ask us if you need the exact thread detail for the drive unit side. No drawing is published for this fitting.
