It is a dual track pedal, and that matters for safety. Two independent sensors read the same pedal and a controller compares them. If one fails, drifts or shorts, the disagreement is detectable and the controller can refuse the signal instead of accepting a phantom throttle demand. That is why production cars use two, and why a single sensor pedal has no place on a car that carries people.

A complete pedal assembly is easier to fit than a sensor. It arrives with its pivot, its return spring, its pedal feel and its mounting already engineered, which is a great deal of work to reproduce. Pedal feel in particular is something drivers notice immediately and is very hard to get right from parts.

Confirm the output range against your controller. Controllers expect a particular voltage band at rest and at full travel. Tell us which controller you are using and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
