A 3.3 kW onboard charger for a 312 V lithium pack, sealed to IP67 and talking to your BMS over CAN. It is the middle of the three power tiers we stock: enough to charge a modest pack overnight from a domestic supply, in a case small enough to find room for.
Charger size is a trade between how fast a pack refills and how much room and supply you have. At 3.3 kW this one draws roughly what a domestic immersion heater does, so it works on an ordinary single phase supply without any special provision, and it will put about 20 kWh into a pack across a night. It puts out up to 10 A across a 220 to 450 V window, which suits a nominal 312 V pack through its whole state of charge, and it reports to the BMS over CAN rather than charging blind on a fixed profile. Fan cooled and rated from minus 40 to plus 65 degrees, so it can be mounted outside a dry enclosure.

Features
- 3.3 kW runs from an ordinary single phase supply with no special provision, and fills a modest pack overnight
- 220 to 450 V output window, so it suits a 312 V pack from flat to full rather than tapering early
- Talks to the BMS over CAN, so the pack governs the charge rather than the charger following a fixed curve
- IP67 sealed, so it can be mounted outside a dry enclosure
- Rated from minus 40 to plus 65 degrees, which covers marine and off grid use as well as vehicles
- 4.8 kg in a 244 mm case, which is usually the difference between finding a home for it and not
Compatibility
We stock these chargers in three power tiers. The right one depends on how quickly the pack needs to refill and what supply is available:
| 1.8 kW | 66 V, 99 V and 132 V packs. Smallest and lightest, for a pack that has all night and then some |
|---|---|
| 3.3 kW | 66 V, 99 V, 145 V, 144 V and 312 V packs. The usual choice for a conversion on a domestic supply, and this charger's tier |
| 6.6 kW | 140 V, 202 V, 450 V and 680 V packs. For a large pack, or where the vehicle has to turn round quickly |
Within this 3.3 kW tier, pick by pack voltage: 66 V, 99 V, 145 V, 144 V or this 312 V unit. Tell us 250 kbps or 500 kbps when you order, because the CAN baud rate is set at the factory.
These are built to order rather than held on a shelf, so ask us for the current lead time before you plan an install date around it.
In the box
- 1 x HK-MF-312-10 charger
Mating connectors, cable and mounting hardware are not included.
